- How do you lead and manage effectively for both performance and wellbeing?
- Are you able to have courageous performance conversations?
- Are you clear on your responsibilities in relation to the wellbeing of your people?
- Are you able to lead in such a way that strengthens both the performance and wellbeing of your people?
Today’s leaders need to ensure their teams can deliver expected results in line with the organisation’s commercial objectives. At the same time, leaders are accountable for the wellbeing, engagement and retention of their people in a way that aligns with the organisation’s cultural objectives. For many leaders this is a challenging dynamic to manage. At Leading Well we know that performance and wellbeing belong together – in the same leadership conversations. Leadership works best when managing expectations, giving and receiving feedback, holding people to account for their promises can hold both performance and wellbeing alongside each other.
Our Managing Performance and Wellbeing Conversations workshop is a practical and interactive session designed to provide leaders with the skills and capabilities to have effective performance management conversations that take into account wellbeing. You will leave clear with:
- a conversation process to manage performance and wellbeing
- a clear sense of your boundaries and responsibilities for performance and wellbeing
- an understanding of how performance and wellbeing work alongside each other
- practical understanding of how to manage expectations, provide and seek feedback, distinguish between coaching and more directive leadership styles and when to apply them.
