Leading Well Discovery

What is a Discovery?

 Preikestolen, Norway

A Discovery is a brief process to unearth unexpected insights rapidly before you embark on a new initiative. Based on a systems leadership methodology, it provides an external perspective that can assist you with any significant change or strategic undertaking that you are considering or any significant issue you are facing that hasn’t responded to linear problem-solving approaches, such as a transformational change, a strategy review, a structural change, an operating model shift, a leadership team dysfunction and so on.

Led by our systemically trained practitioner team, a discovery consists of the following:

  • Brief – to understand the challenge and the desired outcome
  • Interviews – 45 – 60 minute meetings with key individuals and stakeholders
  • Background – review of any relevant background information relevant to the outcome
  • Debrief – sharing of findings in an interactive forum designed to generate rapid illumination, rapid insights and rapid impact.

The Discovery process provides clarity on next steps and actionable outcomes.

Why undertake a Discovery with Leading Well?

The key is the systemic perspective we adopt when questioning and reviewing the ‘warm’ data to help you uncover insights that you may not have even known existed.  These source issues are powerful leverage points. Address them effectively and they ripple throughout your organisation to align your teams and functions back into a state of flow.
