Dean Mason

Dean’s career spans 30 years and has consistently involved facilitating, mentoring and coaching individuals and teams to effect positive change. Usually on the ‘bleeding’ edge of disruption, this has been in the burgeoning personal computer industry of the 1980’s, the re-structuring and down-sizing of print and textiles industries during the 1990’s and 2000’s, and the growth of born-digital enterprises up to now.

In more recent years Dean has brought all of this experience together to focus on realising human potential through the art of mentoring and coaching. For leaders and their teams, Dean considers the development and practice of relational skills to be an essential ingredient for achieving optimum results, regardless of how volatile, complex or unpredictable an environment might be.

Having served as a senior manager in small, medium and corporate environments, and having designed and facilitated programs to grow individual and organisational capabilities for strategic thinking, leadership development, team performance and the management of change programs, Dean has a broad body of experience to draw from.

Dean’s current and recent clients include Apt Wealth, Australian Dept of Defence, Bluefin Resources, Department of Education and Training Victoria, Infosys, Smaart Recruitment, Transport for New South Wales, Royal Melbourne Hospital, University of Melbourne, and the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service.
